Interview Preparation

Items you may bring with you for the initial interview:

Current Resume

Name, addresses, and phone numbers of three references, preferably professional

Completed job application (C-004, if applicable - click here for the form)

Diploma or transcripts verifying degree

Current Drivers License

Professional License(s) (if applicable)

Additional certifications required prior to independent field work:

TB testing results within the last two years. TB information must include date given, date read and results. If applicant has a history of positive TB, then FBR requires proof of a Chest X-Ray noting that the employee is free from TB.

Act 33 PA Child Abuse Clearance (dated within the last year).

Act 34 PA Criminal History Clearance (dated within the last year). You can also use the E-Patch website. *The E-Patch site has the quickest turn around time (almost always instant results), whereas by mailing in the form can take up to eight weeks for results. Keep in mind, you can not work independently in the field without current clearances.

All employees hired after April 1, 2007 are required to obtain a FBI Clearance before they are eligible to work within any school district in Pennsylvania. Original clearances will be accepted if they were obtained within one (1) year of employment with FBR. FBR will reimburse the applicants $24.00 towards the cost of the FBI clearance once it is received by the individual office.
Completion of all new hire paperwork is required before starting to work in the field. 

Note: Within the first 90 days of employment, FBR requires all field staff to complete CPR and First Aide Training
