Finding Answers

Is your son or daughter exhibiting behaviors of concern? Struggling socially? Having trouble communicating? Having difficulty in a daycare setting or in school? Showing signs of anxiety? Are you concerned about your loved one's overall development?

Family Behavioral Resources offers Best Practice Evaluations for children and adolescents birth through 21. We have Licensed Psychologists and Psychological Assistants who can provide observation, assessment, and obtain input from caregivers to ascertain whether or not there is a diagnosis present, and if services are needed.

The Wraparound Approach

Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services (BHRS), also called referred to often as "wraparound," is a process designed to improve the lives of children and adolescents with complex psychological or behavioral needs. It is not a specific program or protocol. Therapy is available seven days a week and becomes part of the daily routine. The process starts with the building of a team comprised of persons from multiple systems collaborating together to develop and carry out an individualized treatment plan. The team includes highly-trained mental health professionals, support staff, family members and when possible, the child, among other persons involved with the consumer's care. This may include educators, daycare centers or other caretakers, case managers, and others. Services are available in the home, community, and/or the educational setting.

Support Beyond Clinical Care

We are proud to support families beyond clinical care.

We offer support groups to families served by Family Behavioral Resources, as well as those families within the community who demonstrate a need to connect with others. There is no charge and no prescription needed to attend our groups, which are part of our commitment to community outreach.
