Lori Kerr is FBR North Huntingdon’s Autism Coordinator and has been with FBR for over six years. Prior to joining the FBR team, Lori taught for 19 years with classroom experience in grades K-8th. Lori has Pennsylvania state certification in both elementary and special education. As the Autism Coordinator, Lori has many opportunities to work with children and their families on an individual basis, which is her passion. Lori also participates in the Research and Innovation committee, which focuses on incorporating current research in the field of autism into daily programming and training efforts. She aids with facilitation of our Westmoreland County STAP, Camp Journey, as well as the FBR/ABOARD North Huntingdon Family Support and Social Skill/Play Group. She also participates in fundraising efforts for Walk Now for Autism Speaks. Lori has a strong background with multiple modalities based in Applied Behavior Analysis, but also has experience with utilization of alternative modalities, such as D.I. R. Floortime. Lori is currently enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh completing coursework for certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Lori and her beloved cats reside in Westmoreland County.
