Shelley Babel recently celebrated four years of employment with Family Behavioral Resources. From June 2005 until May 2008, she worked as a TSS in the FBR Brentwood office while obtaining her graduate degree in Counselor Education from Duquesne University. Upon graduating, Shelley became a BSC/MT and was then promoted as the Clinical Supervisor of the Brentwood office in June 2009. With FBR, Shelley has effectively treated a wide-range of children with autism spectrum diagnoses through her extensive knowledge, dedication, and collaborative efforts. While employed with FBR, Shelley also completed several internships and volunteered with other mental health agencies. As a result, she also has experience with high-risk adolescents and families affected by drug and alcohol dependency. Shelley is a Nationally Certified Counselor and also received the Functional Behavior Assessment Certification through the Bureau of Autism Services. She is also a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Counseling Associations. Shelley is highly respected in the field due to her dedication to clients and constant support to team members.
