Amber L. Conley, MSW, Clinical Supervisor, FBR North Hills Office

Amber is the Clinical Supervisor of the North Hills office.  Amber first jointed the FBR family in 2005 as a part time Behavioral Specialist Consultant in the Monroeville office.  In 2007, Amber was recognized for her clinical knowledge and expertise and was promoted to a full time BSC position.  As a result of Amber’s continued commitment and dedication to the children and families that she worked with as well as her leadership skills and willingness to mentor her colleagues, she was promoted to the position of Clinical Supervisor in the North Hills office in 2008.

Amber has years of experience within the field of social services both as a direct care staff and a supervisor.  Prior to her roles with FBR, she served as a Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS), Direct Care Worker, Case Manager and Lead Case Manager for a Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) program as well as a Family and Individual Therapist.

Amber is well versed in multiple treatment modalities as she has worked with children with behavioral health diagnoses as well children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Amber is trained in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, with a special interest in Applied Verbal Behavior teaching methodologies.

In addition to her extensive clinical support to the agency and our consumers, Amber assists with facilitating the North Hills support group in collaboration with ABOARD.  Amber participates in annual fundraisers for the FBR H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow Team and has been a supporter of the Walk Now for Autism Speaks for the past three years.

Amber resides with her family in Allegheny County.

WHY FBR?

“In all of my experience working in the mental health field, I have never had the opportunity to work for such as supportive company as FBR.  I experienced this as a direct care staff and experience it as a Clinical Supervisor.  It has been an awesome experience of having the opportunity to voice my opinion on matters and then seeing changes that positively impact the children and families that we serve but also the wonderful staff of FBR.  It is a wonderful feeling to assist clinicians in their growth and be afforded the opportunity that I have with FBR.  I could not imagine working anywhere else.”
