Stacey Colborn, MS, Outpatient Clinical Supervisor, FBR Uniontown Clinic

Stacey Colborn is the Outpatient Clinical Supervisor of the Uniontown Clinic.  Stacey has worked for FBR for the last six years.   She was originally hired as the Clinical Supervisor in Uniontown for both BHRS and Outpatient Mental Health Services, and helped supervise the clinic in Connellsville as well as supported consumers in Greene County.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1985 and a Master of Science in Community & Agency Counseling in 1988 both from California University of Pennsylvania.

Stacey began her career at a Drug & Alcohol/ Sexual Assault outpatient agency working with children in schools with drug & alcohol issues and with consumers who had sexual assault issues.  She then began working for a local community mental health agency doing outpatient therapy with adults until becoming a team leader for a home-based program for children at risk for placement.  Stacey has also worked in the school system as a guidance counselor and substitute teacher.  Before coming to FBR, she worked as a County Care Manager.

Stacey leads a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group in our Uniontown Clinic, and has developed trainings for outpatient therapists.

Stacey lives in Washington County with her husband, Charles and two boys, Kyle, 15 and Andrew, 12.

WHY FBR?

“I chose to accept my position at FBR six years ago for many reasons, but the main one was the Quality Assurance/Improvement Department.  I have never worked for an agency that was so committed to "quality" and this really impressed me.  I frequently hear staff that work for other agencies and FBR comment about our charts, paperwork and trainings, and how FBR exceeds other providers.  When I hear those comments, I feel proud to be a part of FBR.  I really enjoy doing therapy and have just been thrilled running the DBT group, seeing the success and positive change that the group process has created for our clients. The group has also helped me grow both personally and professionally.  I am grateful for being a part of a great team at FBR!”
