Eileen graduated in 1996 from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Psychology, and in 1998 from Western Maryland College with a MS in Special Education. In June 2004, she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She is fortunate in having received formal Discrete Trial Training from the CARD Institute (Center for Autism and Related Disorders). She is proud to be one of the original members of the FBR Autism Team, formed in 2003. She has received additional training in: PECS, AVB, DTI, Visual Supports, Behavior Modification, Research Methods, and Data Collection. In additional to her role on the Autism Team, she has served as a Clinical Supervisor of the FBR Greensburg Office from 2006-2007. Eileen serves in the BCBA role and provides oversight of FBR’s STAP programs, Camp Journey and Camp Crossroads, across the agency. She is also a member of the Program Development Committee, whose goal is to expand the continuum of care at FBR to best meet the needs of consumers. Eileen has facilitated support groups in North Huntingdon and New Kensington in collaboration with ABOARD. She has been a member of the Autism Speaks Walk Now for Autism Speaks Committee in Pittsburgh for six years, serving as the co-chair for the Kickoff Luncheon subcommittee. Eileen and her family reside in Westmoreland County. Why FBR? “FBR has provided me with so many opportunities to further my professional development. I am surrounded on a daily basis of an amazingly supportive team who strive every day to provide the highest quality of service to the children and families we serve. We are fortunate enough to work in an environment in which creativity and new ideas are encouraged. The dedication of the employees that work for FBR never cease to amaze me. There are countless individuals who work so hard every day to develop new programs and enhance the quality of our trainings and services. To know as an employee of FBR that I am able to have contact whenever needed with our CEO and COO is extremely appreciated. They make an ongoing effort at all times to be supportive of their staff and are always open to new ideas. I am so proud to be a member of this agency. I feel that my contributions are appreciated every day. FBR cares about the well being of both employees and consumers and always discuss new and innovative ways to demonstrate their appreciation and commitment. I celebrate the eight years that I have been with FBR and look forward to the many years to come! |
