Courtney has served as a Regional Director of Autism Services for Family Behavioral Resources since 2005. She began her career with Family Behavioral Resources at the Brentwood Office, serving as both the Clinical Supervisor and Regional Director of Autism Services until March 2009 when she decided to focus on Autism Services exclusively in the Robinson and Courtney has focused on training development for staff, improving the quality of Autism Services and increasing awareness in the community through outreach projects such as Courtney came to Family Behavioral Resources from Pressley Ridge with over 5 years of supervisory experience, focusing her clinical skills with the dually diagnosed population (both ASD and Mental Retardation diagnoses respectively) in both Wraparound and in residential services. She also was a certified trainer in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, was a member of the Task Force (known as the Child Safety Committee) responsible for continuous quality improvement, and was a facilitator for Experiential Education during the Re-Education conference for staff in 2005. Courtney enjoys being able to work with clinicians to develop their skills on a weekly basis and seeing how this positively affects the quality of services to families. She also values the quality management teams she works with in both the Robinson and WHY FBR? “I came to FBR because I believe that we have a powerful and important role in each child’s and family’s life, and that striving for nothing short of clinical excellence and perfection is what our families deserve from us.
