Outpatient Mental Health Services

Family Behavioral Resources (FBR) outpatient services include individual, family, couples and/or group therapy, as well as, the availability of psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Outpatient services are delivered in an office setting utilizing the latest approaches to alleviating symptoms of psychological disorders, behavioral challenges and stress related issues. The frequency of services is determined by way of collaboration with each individual and is based on clinical assessment of need. Frequency of services can range from weekly to monthly and may be adjusted to reflect treatment needs and progress. Our therapist will work with individuals and families to identify treatment goals and expected outcomes of therapeutic interventions. FBR outpatient services are individualized to meet individual and family needs. FBR strives to meet the needs of our communities through training, consultation, research, and specialized therapy programs. Therapy sessions are private and confidential.



Outpatient therapy provides support to individuals and families to address needs related to a variety of disorders with may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Disorders of Childhood, or Adolescence
  2. Anxiety Disorders
  3. Mood Disorders
  4. Eating Disorders
  5. Schizophrenia and other Psychotic Disorders
  6. Impulse-Control Disorders
  7. Adjustment Disorders
  8. Personality Disorders

Within the outpatient setting therapist assist individuals and family to address a multitude of emotional and behavioral issues. Some of these may include:

 

  1. Family conflict
  2. Relationship issues
  3. Grief, loss, and bereavement
  4. Trauma and attachment
  5. Anger management
  6. Stress management
  7. Social skills
  8. Adjustment reactions to life changes (divorce, separation, school/work changes)

Therapeutic approaches to treatment may vary based on the clinical background and expertise of each individual clinician. Family Behavioral Resources is dedicated to training and development of its staff. Treatment approaches may include: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Talk Therapy, Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused, Marital Interventions, Attachment and Trauma models, Art Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and Group Processes.
