Kristyn Maikranz, M.A., NCC, LBS

Director of Mental Health


With a passion for clinical supervision, teaching, training and development, Kristyn currently serves as the Director of Mental Health at Family Behavioral Resources. In her current role, she ensures clinical integrity and consumer access to care through consultation and collaboration. In addition, she provides ongoing feedback and support to clinical leadership teams to continually improve the quality of services FBR provides.

A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Kristyn obtained a Bachelor of Science in psychology, with a minor in sociology. In 2013, she earned a Master of Arts in mental health counseling from Marywood University. Currently, Kristyn is pursuing a Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision at Duquesne University.

She is a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American Counseling Association, the Pennsylvania Counseling Association and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. In her spare time, Kristyn enjoys exploring western Pennsylvania’s unique cultural heritage, participating in half marathons, cooking and hiking.
